countdown 107?

with just about 3 or so songs to go at last night's Countdown 107 for 2006 (on nu107, of course), the station's transmission simply stopped. they did return a few minutes later, but they only played a live cd of the foo fighters, if i'm not mistaken.

they probably went through some technical malfunction, but i wasn't able to wait for regular programming to return (siyempre, nag-celebrate din naman ako ng new year. hehe). does anybody have updates or news about what happened, especially the results of the Countdown's top three? mucho salamats.

the sad waltzed of pietro crispi

i heard this song when it was featured in one of my favorite podcast feed, insomnia radio.

OWEN is an independent artist whose cool voice makes you think of hammocks and porches and vannila tea on a breezy afternoon. His song, The Sad Waltzes of Pietro Crespi is subtely sad and desperate, I think. Excuse the bad excuse for a review. It's good. Take my word for it. You want to know how good? I've forgotten all of the other songs that Jason and Scott (guest) have featured in this Insomnia Radio episode. Only this song stuck, and I've been singing it all day to myself and the voices in my head.
